Gavin Garrity
Optimus Legal Services was set up only recently in 2019 when Gavin decided to take a step in a different direction from his earlier career in Security and Operations Work.
Having spent some 5 years in the British Army, Gavin returned to the UK and began working in the Private Security Industry working his way up to Senior Management, managing National accounts for large blue chip Companies with him being responsible for over 100 staff who reported to him.
Now self-employed Gavin predominantly works as a Certified Enforcement Agent and Process Server. He has a wealth of experience in his short time since qualification in Traveller Evictions, Protestor Evictions, Tenant Evictions, Forfeitures and High Court Writs of Execution
He undertakes a range of Debt Collection work for debts such as Road Traffic, Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates and all manner of other Commercial/Personal Debt Collection.
Given his previous experience in the Security Industry Gavin has brought a great deal of experience to his new role. He is regarded as a robust but fair man, always maintaining professionalism despite facing some very difficult Clients.
Aside from the Enforcement Work and Process Serving, Gavin has gained experience in a variety of legal administration roles including undertaking site visits, investigation and surveillance work. He is also adept in meeting with witnesses and taking accounts from them in order to create witness statements or other legal documents.
Known for his ability to relate to all who he deals with, Gavin’s broad experience has stood him in good stead with those who instruct him and those who he meets on a daily basis to carry out his work.
Optimus Legal Services through Gavin has the ability to offer Barrister Led Legal Services through its sister Company Optimus Chambers. Optimus Chambers is run by Micaila Williams, a Barrister called to the Bar in 2004. With a broad range of experience and knowledge she can provide advice and assistance across most every day legal issues for Business and Individuals.
Together Optimus Legal Services and Optimus Chambers can provide a cradle to grave service for all your personal or business related legal issues, wholesale or ad hoc to suit your needs.
Micaila Williams - Barrister
Optimus Chambers was originally set up in 2012 when Micaila Williams decided to leave conventional private practice and work alone in an attempt to have more control over her work/home life balance.
Subsequently, she was provided with an opportunity to work in house at a High Street firm of Solicitors and Optimus Chambers was put to bed for a few years whilst she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience which can only be gained from a busy High Street firm.
Since her return to private practice, Micaila is keen to keep a varied practice with her prime focus on client care and achieving a sense of justice for them, whatever their problems.
Micaila was called to the Bar in 2004 and began practice immediately focussing on Criminal Law. She has since then obtained her Duty Solicitor Qualification and Police Station Accreditation so she is able to represent Clients from the Police Station right the way through to the European Court of Human Rights if required!
With a broad range of experience and knowledge she can provide advice and assistance across most every day legal issues for Business and Individuals.
Micaila is also able to accept instructions from members of the public directly under the Public Access Scheme and is authorised to conduct litigation.
On a personal level Micaila enjoys family time above anything else and has a keen interest in photography and books.
